WTA was engaged to provide feasibility analysis, zoning and site analysis, zoning change services, planning, programming, design development, construction documents, interior design and construction administration services for this project. The project consists of a two story facility adjacent to the existing practice of six orthopaedic surgeons. The new 19,000 GSF facility contains a 7000GSF surgery center, future tenant space and a MRI suite with a 1.5 Tesla magnet by GE. The project includes significant site work, a connector to the existing proctice, an exterior arcade and clinic renovations. Future design considerations include 23-hour recovery and conversion to a surgical hospital.

WTA was engaged to provide site and zoning analysis, planning, programming and design development services for this project. The new 14,000 GSF surgery center is immediiately adjacent to the operating suites of the Hospital General in Ensenada, Mexico. The project includes renovation of the existing inpatient surgical suite, the deliver and birthing suite, the emergency and trauma department and the central sterile processing department. Future design consideration includes a 40 bed medical-surgical wing.
