WTA was engaged to provide feasibility analysis, zoning and site analysis, zoning change services, planning, programming, design development, construction documents, interior design and construction administration services for this project. The project was located on eight annexed acres on the east side of Casper, Wyoming. The new 33,000 GSF facility contains a 7500 GSF surgery center, 2500 GSF recovery center, 12000 GSF practice for eight surgeons, 4000 GSF of physical therapy space, and a 7000 GSF lower level for future expansion. The facility was designed for expansion to include an MRI suite with a 1.5 Tesla magnet.

The new surgery center occupied 16,000 GSF. The multi-specialty surgery center was a collaborative effort by 42 surgeons and two local hospitals. The center has four operating rooms, two GI rooms, one stereo-tactic room and another minor procedure room. The center was designed for expansion to include additional operating rooms, medical office space and ancillary space.
